CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
SUSTAINABILITY
Most of our buildings were purchased from third parties and upgraded by Adgar to be adapted to modern and efficient use. We are committed to bring our buildings to make as little impact on the environment as we can reasonably achieve. In Canada we obtained BOMA BEST certificates to most of our buildings. In Poland we chose LEED Gold as our target and most of our buildings in Poland obtained this certificate and the ones who did not are in process to achieve this target. In Israel we will achieve the green certificate according to the Israeli upgraded green standard of construction no 5281. The ongoing operation of our buildings also affects the physical environment. We put a lot of efforts to have our buildings operate the most efficient way thus saving money for our tenants and minimizing their impact on the environment.
We are also contributing money to health organizations in the countries we operate and we put a lot of attention to healthy lifestyle. We donate funds to sport activities and events, including subsidizing free running groups and events from some of our buildings, on a weekly basis. We also have bike stands, bike rooms (for expansive bikes), showers and Adgarbikes for free use for the tenants in every building as a standard in Poland.
